Aries: How to Fix Your Life
First, I mean no disrespect to my wonderful Aries friends. You are wonderful and I love you! I’m an Aries rising, and I often feel more like an Aries than a Virgo. Tweet me if you’re an Aries:
I'm an Amazing Aries! Click To TweetWhile you can find a thousand articles about how great you are, I’m going to hone in on your trouble spots. Use these if you’re in a tough situation and need help getting out.

Here’s what *might* be wrong if you’re an Aries:
1). You’re being way too competitive

Not everyone is out to get you, Aries. You may love competition, even thrive off of it, but not everyone wants to battle you. Is it possible you’re misreading someone’s intentions? Some people just want to do their best and don’t think about competing at all. You may be stressing yourself out over a contest that isn’t even real!
Even if there is a real competition, you don’t have to burn yourself out to win every single time.
The Solution: Remove the competitive aspect of this situation. How does it look now? Do you still care as much? If not, why bother with competing? You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone, Aries! If you simply must compete to feel better, compete with who you were yesterday. Compete with the time clock. You don’t need to compete in everything though, so keep that in mind!

2). You don’t care enough about the details

Aries doesn’t commit unless it’s 100%. This is great, but it can mean that you shut your brain off when you don’t care about something. Your grandma’s story about returning her bra may be boring, but if your relationship with her is struggling, don’t tune her out. Pay attention to things you don’t deem important. You may just be missing an important piece of the puzzle.
The Solution: Pay closer attention to details. Journaling can help with this, or you can just make an effort to listen carefully to things you might usually ignore. See if you can find important info you’ve missed!

3). You’re being too impulsive

Quick-thinking and witty, you’re known for bursts of energy where you do whatever you feel in that moment. You’re a wild friend and a lot of fun. This can also mean you fly off the handle or get furious before you have all the information.
The Solution: Slow down a bit and make sure you have everything you need before moving forward. If you’re tempted to jump head-first into something, take a moment and review the facts. A little preparation can go a long way!

4). You’re confusing “honest” with “mean”

Your honesty is a great trait, one that many other signs don’t have. However, maybe grandma doesn’t *need* to know that you’ve heard this bra story a million times and don’t care. Maybe there’s a way to gently tell your partner that their hairstyle makes you want to puke.
A lot of people say things like, “that’s just who I am, I’m not afraid to express my opinions!” or “I tell it like it is!” This is a thinly-veiled excuse for “I know my words hurt people and don’t want to be held accountable for that.” If you recognize yourself here, that’s okay! You can now begin the process of unlearning that.
The Solution: Value kindness as much as honesty. It’s important to strive for a balance between truthful, helpful and kind. If the truth won’t help someone, or if it’s just mean, does it really need to be said?

5). You’re focused only on the short term

This ties into your impulsivity, but it needs to be a point of its own. Are you considering the long-term ramifications? Are you considering all sides of the story and how everyone will fare down the road? Think carefully, Aries. Your future depends on it.
The Solution: Write out (or at least consider) how this situation will play out in the long term. Get detailed and list every possibility. You’ll need to take a break before taking any action. This may go against every instinct you have, but it’s important! Try using the I Ching if you have a hard time making decisions.
